Digital Citizenship Teaching and Learning

Dear Parents,

As part of our ongoing commitment to teach digital citizenship, the fourth grade team will be conducting stations Thursday afternoon. All students will be learning about the following topics:

Safe Passwords - Students will learn how to create safe passwords and the importance of online privacy.  

Digital Footprint - We will “introduce” the concept of digital footprints. This is a video, which is appropriate for parents only, if you would like to learn more please watch this video:

Image Search - Students will learn how to search for images according to licenses. Students "must" cite photographs that they use in their presentations during grade 4, or those photos will be deleted.

Kindness vs. Bullying

Students will define cyberbullying and identify examples of it.  Students will discuss what actions to take when they see cyber-bullying and how they can prevent it.
